Before the signs were up, the cars didn’t slow down, especially the big trucks. After the signs were installed, I can see people up ahead slowing down. Everybody hits their brakes.

We recently reduced the speed limit on our railroad tracks to 10 mph. We were looking for options to keep the locomotives within the speed limit. This has helped them reduce their speed and things are running pretty smooth now.
We purchased the TC-400 for its portability. It is more convenient and easier to charge and deploy than our trailer… The Marine Sciences CREST Research Park is 8 to 10 miles away from the main campus. There is a single road in and out that serves as a drag strip. When the sign is deployed at that location, it calms traffic very effectively.
The data from the signs helped us identify one area that we thought had a speeding problem. But we learned it was much worse than we thought. People are ecstatic about the sign. It does slow traffic. The sign helps in two ways. It slows drivers who are speeding and it informs residents who think cars are speeding that they often are not.

In one area, someone pulled up the entire sign—the street sign, pole, and radar sign, and dumped it in a ditch. We washed it off and it worked just fine.

I am more than satisfied with our TC-400 signs and the results we get. We run the signs for about 10 days in each location, moving them according to citizen complaints as well as plans for various roadways. We can collect data to see if we actually have problems with speeders in certain areas, and we can take traffic counts too.
After we started putting our signs up around the county, the Sheriff’s department was here asking a bunch of questions, and they ended up buying 2 signs as well.
The signs are working well. From my unmarked vehicle, I have watched as cars react to the sign. It has slowed them down dramatically.
Everything’s working great. We are very pleased with the battery life of the TC-400. It lasts two weeks, just as you said it would.
The Radarsign driver feedback signs are working wonderfully and are doing what we need them to do. They pick up the speed of vehicles a good distance away and are a great reminder to drivers not to speed.
We have over 2 years of data collected by our TC-600 and, despite the complaints we get, the overwhelming majority of drivers do not speed. The data we’ve collected disproves the common beliefs about speeding in our area.
In my opinion there is no other product like yours. They are very well built. The ability to retrieve the traffic statistics is well done and the reports showing the trending are very helpful.
