Customer Reviews and Testimonials

Radarsign is a trusted source for the best quality radar speed signs on the market today. Here is what our customers have to say about us.

We bought the Radarsign ‘Safety in a Box’ and that was very convenient.

We notice a big difference when the Radarsign speed sign is in place making drivers more conscious of their speed.

The 4 signs are located in the neighborhood and we have noticed they do work to slow the drivers down and the residents are happy with the signs. We have not had any complaints, only positives.

I couldn’t tell you the last time we’ve had an incident since installing our TC-600S signs. People see that speed flashing and they slow down immediately. It really catches everyone’s eye and we’re very pleased with our Radarsign purchase.

We’re a major route between Columbia, SC and Myrtle Beach. We have roughly 12,000 vehicles come through each day. Just about every car I see approach the sign, I also see brake lights.

It’s easy to put up and take down, very accessible to my officers.

It’s reasonably priced. The set up and instructions were good. It’s impressive and stays on all the time. Our Model TC-600S is a pretty rugged item that can handle the elements.

I am more than satisfied with our TC-400 signs and the results we get. We run the signs for about 10 days in each location, moving them according to citizen complaints as well as plans for various roadways. We can collect data to see if we actually have problems with speeders in certain areas, and we can take traffic counts too.

After we started putting our signs up around the county, the Sheriff’s department was here asking a bunch of questions, and they ended up buying 2 signs as well.

We started with two, then went to four, and now we’re up to 10 radar speed signs in the city. The Radarsign brand signs are easy to maintain …practically maintenance free.

We chose Radarsign because it was the best bang for the buck.

We considered 3 or 4 other manufacturers, but Radarsign’s package with Streetsmart software, colored strobes and messaging was a better combination for our needs. The others all seemed to be missing one key element.

When we installed the signs, we saw a 75% improvement as people became aware of how fast they were driving. That means they’re paying attention.

Our enforcement officers love them; they feel they’re really working and have encouraged us to get more signs. Our residents have been overwhelmingly positive—they like the effect they’re seeing when folks slow down.

Our city ordinances require bids from multiple vendors, so I got quotes from 5 when I started looking. Radarsign wasn’t necessarily the lowest priced quote—it was right in the middle of the five—but I recommended it to the city council because I just liked Radarsign’s reputation and data collection capabilities. Now I’ve recommended the Radarsign brand to other municipalities that have noticed the signs and come to ask about them.

We bought one TC-400 to see what it could do, especially compared to our old, bulky trailer, which is large, expensive, and relatively portable. The city council liked it so much, we bought two more.

The TC-400 signs are a great asset for us. They’re pretty simple to use; our community service officers download the data and it goes smoothly. The battery life is really good. We haven’t had any issues whatsoever. They are an important part of our traffic safety program. Since we can pinpoint the times motorists are more likely to speed, it makes our patrols more effective.

To address traffic complaints from the community, we wanted to see data to verify the speeding issues, including the times and speeds. From that information, we could determine the appropriate response and choose how we deployed our resources. The Radarsign speed sign is doing this for us.

The city plans to use the traffic data to secure grants for sidewalks and other street improvements. The StreetSmart software has been very helpful with gathering the information that city operations need to develop the grant proposals.

The TC-400 is a very useful tool. If someone complains about speeders—especially in neighborhoods—we move the sign to that area and collect the data. Then we call the person who voiced the complaint to come in and we go over the data with them. They’re usually surprised to see that the problem isn’t as bad as they thought. In some neighborhoods where it’s already been, the residents are now asking for it to come back.
