Customer Reviews and Testimonials

Radarsign is a trusted source for the best quality radar speed signs on the market today. Here is what our customers have to say about us.

As a city, we have to get 3 bids for every project and are dictated to go with the low bid. Radarsign met all our needs and still offered the best price.

Our local power company wanted us off the grid as part of the county’s efforts to go green. We realized we could enhance safety and go green by switching from hardwired to solar radar signs.

As of Oct 25, 2019, I retired from the City of Muscle Shoals. Thank you for all the help you’ve given me over the years. I wish all vendors were as easy to work with as Radarsign, LLC.

I started researching safety measures we could add, and found that several of the 17 schools in the UNC system were using the Radarsign brand. I contacted them and got great feedback.

We want to make sure everyone’s safe. You can put up a regular speed sign—which is OK. But when they’re flashing at you, they’re more effective.

During pick-up and drop-off times, 20% of the cars were speeding with some going as fast as 35 mph. After installing Radarsign’s driver feedback sign, only 8.5% are speeding, a 57% reduction!

We first operated the signs in stealth mode and gathered data for a baseline. After the signs were was turned on fully functional, there was a 30-40% reduction in speeding violators.

The installation of the signs was straightforward and easy.

It’s an effective traffic-calming solution that doesn’t cost a lot. It has been a good return on investment.

We have only one patrol officer. People complain about speeders but we can’t keep an officer everywhere. This is like our second police officer.

What sold me was Radarsign’s videos. I liked what I saw and liked the price. Honestly, I got lucky to find Radarsign and it’s worked great for us.

The TC-600 signs definitely work. It doesn’t cure everything—regulars, especially, seem to feel they can speed with impunity—but it does a good job controlling the masses…The signs just work all the time. They’ve been great for us.

We had specific locations in mind for the initial 6 pairs of signs we purchased. We performed traffic studies before and after installing the TC-600s and found we were getting a 20% reduction in speeding. So we bought another pair of signs the following fiscal year.

Most of the signs are on our local collectors, where we have higher traffic volume and where speed tables would slow emergency vehicles more than we want. With the signs, we get more positive feedback than negative, whereas with the speed tables, we get more negative than positive.

There was a community cry about speeders, and the knee-jerk reaction was, ˜We need speed bumps.’ We didn’t want to go straight to speed bumps because of the time and expense involved, and this Radarsign product would allow us to really look at the traffic data. What we found was that these are even more effective than speed bumps. These signs are bullet-resistant, easy for our staff to operate, just a great all-around tool. It’s one of the best investments we’ve made outside of traditional policing in a long time.

From a citizen’s perspective, this builds trust in the city responding to their complaints. When someone calls in with an issue, we can deploy one of these signs immediately.

We were so happy with the effect of Radarsign speed signs we purchased in the past, that”when the time was right” we purchased two additional Radarsign speed signs.

They are ideal for our rural area, where we have a lot of 2-lane roads at 65 miles per hour that drop down to 45 going through small towns. They definitely catch drivers’ attention.

To address traffic complaints from the community, we wanted to see data to verify the speeding issues, including the times and speeds. From that information, we could determine the appropriate response and choose how we deployed our resources. The Radarsign speed sign is doing this for us.

We even got feedback from our trucking company that it was beneficial to them; truckers often don’t think about their speed once they get onto property. It’s a good visual, a nice flashing reminder—and installed high enough that truckers can see it.
