Customer Reviews and Testimonials

Radarsign is a trusted source for the best quality radar speed signs on the market today. Here is what our customers have to say about us.

All our signs function well, and the public perception of them is positive. People see them and appreciate them being on the roadways.

We started with two, then went to four, and now we’re up to 10 radar speed signs in the city. The Radarsign brand signs are easy to maintain …practically maintenance free.

As a city, we have to get 3 bids for every project and are dictated to go with the low bid. Radarsign met all our needs and still offered the best price.

I was originally looking for a speed trailer. In doing that research, I learned about pole-mounted driver speed signs, which are significantly less expensive and more versatile than trailers. I recommended Radarsign because of price, the ease of getting a quote and the instructional information on the website—particularly the videos of opening the box and hanging the signs, then connecting for data retrieval. We knew exactly what we were getting with Radarsign.

Some of our Radarsigns have been up for more than 12 years, and we’ve never even had to upgrade. They just work.

The signs are working great and are really a big help. Drivers see the blue light and slow down automatically. It’s a good deterrent. One particular area had had several accidents. Since we installed the signs, the accidents have stopped. Bottom line: it’s working and makes it safe for everybody.

I typically deploy them for a week in stealth mode before turning the display on, and we generally see a 2-3 mile per hour drop. It’s enough to get people’s attention, and gives local residents the expectation that we’re keeping an eye open. We chose the Radarsign Model TC-400 because they were the easiest to move around. In addition, the Streetsmart software didn’t require us to purchase a cloud license; we can just download the data directly from the signs.

We narrowed our choices to two vendors and Radarsign just had more to offer. The price might have been slightly higher— but we were able to make the justification because of the enhanced capabilities.

We get great data from the TC-600s. It’s a good opportunity to see when the volume (of traffic) occurs, and to explain that the perception that ‘everybody’s speeding’ isn’t necessarily accurate. In fact, we’ve shown that most violators are going 1-5 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

We have had radar trailers in the past. Now that technology has shrunk to a pole mounted version, we decided to get the TC-400. It is much easier to use.

We initially purchased two signs for a test run and they worked well. So, we purchased four more. We use them in all types of locations from school zones, to business districts to highways to neighborhoods.

We received compliments from citizens about the signs. They love them and want them in front of their homes.

When we were looking at different models of radar signs, we were most concerned about durability in the Alaska weather. The six signs have held up throughout the coldest months of the winter.

The Radarsign signs are working. You can tell just by standing near the sign. You can watch the cars react and slow down.

Our Radarsign brand signs are giving us what we’re looking for, which is useful data on traffic and speeds. The signs work. They’re a deterrent to speeding…One of the biggest pluses for us was that the Streetsmart software was a one-time purchase, rather than an annual license fee like most other manufacturers we looked at, especially with the size of our department and funding concerns.

We’ve had fewer complaints in the areas where we post the signs. We have 6 brackets for our three signs and move them around the four wards of the city, particularly school zones, and our parks and recreation areas.

We’ve seen a 30-40 percent reduction in people speeding. I would definitely recommend the TC-400. It’s really simple to use, easy to set up and the battery life is pretty incredible.

It works great, slows traffic. But good data is the most important thing we get from it. As the halfway point between New York and Florida, we always have traffic. In fact, we’re one of the top four counties in North Carolina for driver crashes each year, with 75,000-140,000 vehicles going through town every day.

We looked at several signs and manufacturers, and chose Radarsign because of its customer service responsiveness, the price, and everything that came with the sign for the price…Working with Radarsign has been great. Anytime I’ve had a question, I just email the customer service folks and get a quick response. It’s helped me respond quickly to our council members and citizens.
