Customer Reviews and Testimonials

Radarsign is a trusted source for the best quality radar speed signs on the market today. Here is what our customers have to say about us.

I searched the internet and quickly zeroed in on Radarsign because of the portability of the TC-400. We wanted to be able to move it around to different spots as needed. I didn’t even request quotes from any other manufacturer.

When we installed them in June 2021, 29% of vehicles were exceeding the posted speed limits. In March 2022, only 12% were. We’ve also found that, as drivers first notice the signs, they slow an average of 3 to 5 miles per hour. The signs catch drivers’ attention and is a reminder to slow down. We publicize the number of vehicles exceeding 35, 40, 45 and 50 miles per hour—which we’d seen last summer after installation. Last month, it was 0 people exceeding even 40 miles per hour, so they’re working.

I am very pleased with compactness, weight, and battery life of the TC-400 and its overall capabilities. They are most definitely effective in slowing traffic.

The traffic data is very useful, especially when there are exaggerated claims of excessive speeding, like 55 in 25 mph zone.

We narrowed our choices to two vendors and Radarsign just had more to offer. The price might have been slightly higher— but we were able to make the justification because of the enhanced capabilities.

We get great data from the TC-600s. It’s a good opportunity to see when the volume (of traffic) occurs, and to explain that the perception that ‘everybody’s speeding’ isn’t necessarily accurate. In fact, we’ve shown that most violators are going 1-5 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

As of Oct 25, 2019, I retired from the City of Muscle Shoals. Thank you for all the help you’ve given me over the years. I wish all vendors were as easy to work with as Radarsign, LLC.

It works great, slows traffic. But good data is the most important thing we get from it. As the halfway point between New York and Florida, we always have traffic. In fact, we’re one of the top four counties in North Carolina for driver crashes each year, with 75,000-140,000 vehicles going through town every day.

As long as we’ve had them, the Radarsign brand signs have been doing great. We have a few from another manufacturer that aren’t nearly as dependable and they’re really calming the traffic down.

Residents of our HOA were complaining about speeding and wanted speed humps. After much research I determined that the best solution was driver speed signs from Radarsign, not speed humps. Almost immediately after installing the signs, complaints about speeding stopped.

What sold me was Radarsign’s videos. I liked what I saw and liked the price. Honestly, I got lucky to find Radarsign and it’s worked great for us.

The TC-600 signs definitely work. It doesn’t cure everything—regulars, especially, seem to feel they can speed with impunity—but it does a good job controlling the masses…The signs just work all the time. They’ve been great for us.

This is the first year that the city can plan to use radar signs on main thoroughfares in the winter because, unlike speed trailers, these will not interfere with snow plows. They will not have to be moved when the streets need to be cleared.

We can use them almost anywhere, even on streets that were previously inaccessible to speed trailers.

We’d bought a solar panel-type sign from another vendor and never did get it to work right. It was more expensive than the TC-400, as well.

I’ve looked at what other areas in our region are using, and I like the way the Radarsign brand signs are set up. The batteries are easy to charge, easy to replace. The signs themselves are easy to set up and place on the pole, and easy to move.

I started researching safety measures we could add, and found that several of the 17 schools in the UNC system were using the Radarsign brand. I contacted them and got great feedback.

Everything’s working great. We are very pleased with the battery life of the TC-400. It lasts two weeks, just as you said it would.

Before the signs were up, the cars didn’t slow down, especially the big trucks. After the signs were installed, I can see people up ahead slowing down. Everybody hits their brakes.

The TC-400 is a very useful tool. If someone complains about speeders—especially in neighborhoods—we move the sign to that area and collect the data. Then we call the person who voiced the complaint to come in and we go over the data with them. They’re usually surprised to see that the problem isn’t as bad as they thought. In some neighborhoods where it’s already been, the residents are now asking for it to come back.

I’ve seen your products and what they can do. Everything has worked exceptionally well. I fully intend to order more from Radarsign in the future.
