Re-engineered design offers dynamic messaging options and flash technology to slow speeding drivers

ALPHARETTA, Georgia, January 12, 2016—The TC-600, the latest addition to the Radarsign brand of driver feedback signs is now available.  Radarsign, the manufacturer of the world’s first armored driver feedback sign, has been a traffic calming industry leader when it comes to the design and manufacturer of driver feedback signs. The re-engineered design of the TC-600 builds upon an already successful product.

The TC-600, ideal for 10-45 mph speed limit roads, is NEMA 4R and MUTCD compliant and incorporates a number of features that have become increasingly valuable to municipalities and law enforcement agencies, including:

  • Dynamic messaging – With a full matrix display, users can choose from two speeds of alerts to notify drivers who are exceeding the speed limit by flashing the driver’s speed and a custom message such as SLOW DOWN or TOO FAST.
  • Micro flash technology – A micro flash—similar to that of a camera but far less powerful—immediately gets the attention of a speeding driver. The implied photo capture slows drivers without taking pictures. This is an optional feature of the TC-600.
  • Exceptional visibility – 13″ full matrix LED display with directional beam technology delivers a superior quality display for drivers, even in bright sunlight. Radarsign’s proprietary design serves as a cone, magnifying the intensity of the light, and pinpoints it directly to the view of approaching drivers. Easily readable up to 600 feet away.
  • Wi-Fi Enabled Hotspot – Access to the sign’s control panel is quick and easy. Any brand or type of mobile device with a web browser allows users to log on from as far away as 100 feet. This distance is 5x farther than the reach of typical Bluetooth. Password protection and WPA2 encrypted security keeps data safe and prevents unauthorized use.
